1/21-read and outline pp. 3-8    
1/23-Finish reading Chapter 1. Bring copy of Catcher in the Rye to class on Monday, 1/26 (Red class brings the novel on Tuesday)   Don't forget to register for turnitin.com and post a response to the discussion question-Registration must be done by 2/4.  This will be a homework grade. 
1/26-Bring bibles on Tuesday   Your personal response and the response to a classmate's post are due by Feb. 9  This will count as a test grade.
1/30-Parent signature sheet due-this is a change from the date given in class

2/26-homework for Blue, Green and Orange only-Chap. 2 packet due Monday   Project due Tuesday, March 3.  Remember-you must submit the bibliography to turnitin by midnight 3/2.  If you are absent, the handouts must be delivered to me or you will lose 20 pts. per day on that part of the assignment.  If you are working with a partner, the rest of the project must be brought in on the due date.

Journal Due Dates: Remember, this is a test grade:

3/9-Purple, orange; 3/10-Blue; 3/11-Green, red; 3/12-yellow

  Binders will be checked on Monday and Tuesday while you are in the tech lab with the Guidance Counselors.  Be sure that your binder has the following: (1) completed grade sheet; (2) 4 tabs, correctly labeled; (3) all papers completed; (4) all papers in the correct sections; (5) all papers in order from newest to oldest.  This is a Test grade.
3/16 and 3/17-Report to the Tech Lab.  Bring binders for checking.    
3/18-20-Oral presentations will be completed.  Be sure to bring your flash drives with PowerPoint presentations and and Podcast.   Project quiz will be given early in the 4th quarter.  A homework grade from third quarter will be changed to a quiz grade so that you will have 2 quiz grades for the quarter.
3/23-All classes report to class for attendance.  We will then go to the chapel or music room (depending on period) where you will have the opportunity to go to confession.    
3/23-HW-Read pp. 45-48; Project open note quiz 3/27 for all put yellow; Yellow quiz will be 3/30-Bring handouts with you!   Don't forget Operation Rice Bowl!

3/25-Read pp. 52-55    3/31-Chapter 3 test -study notes on chapter 3 and Spirituality as well as information in the text and vocabulary from the text.  Be sure to be able to explain the difference between obstacles to freedom and obstacles that limit freedom and give examples.
